Services
Six services. One rule: the fee in writing first.
Every engagement below starts with a flat quote in an engagement letter. Routine work has published prices; anything unusual gets scoped in a consult before a dollar is billed.
Service details
Bookkeeping & monthly close
Transactions categorized, accounts reconciled, and the month closed by the 8th business day — or that month is free. Every close ships with a three-line plain-English summary: what came in, what went out, what changed.
- QuickBooks Online or Xero — your file, your ownership
- Priced by transaction volume, not by mood
- Deadline calendar + document nudges automated
Business tax
1120-S, 1065, and Schedule C returns. Bookkeeping clients land at the low end because clean books make cheap returns — that's not a discount, it's arithmetic. Extensions filed proactively, never in a panic.
Individual tax
W-2 returns at the low end; rentals, K-1s, equity comp, and multi-state at the top. You get a checklist, we get your documents, the fee is quoted before preparation starts.
Payroll
Payroll runs, quarterly filings, year-end W-2s and 1099s — riding on the same books we already keep, so wages never mysteriously disagree with the P&L.
Catch-up & cleanup
Months or years behind, shoebox receipts, a QuickBooks file that's been "creative" — quoted flat after a look at the file. No scolding; being behind is the most common way new clients arrive.
CFO advisory
Thirteen-week cash-flow forecasting, margin and pricing analysis, and a monthly working session. Requires clean books — conveniently, that's the other thing we do.
