The builder
Construction folklore ends at the paperwork.
Every horror story has the same plot: nothing was in writing. Marta Gantrywell built the company as the counter-plot — drawings before demo, prices before contracts, change orders before changes, and a walk every Friday so nobody has to wonder.
How we build
Stamped before started
Engineering and permits in-house, drawings stamped before demo. Bids hold because the scope was real when we priced it.
Milestone money
Draws follow completed milestones you can stand in. Big deposits and mystery invoices are how the folklore starts; we don't write either.
Fridays, together
Every project, every Friday: what happened, what's next, what needs deciding. Plus the 11-month comeback for the settling-in list.
Marta Gantrywell, general contractor
A builder who kept the site notebook. Then made it the company.
Marta ran commercial sites for a decade, where nothing moves without documentation — then watched residential clients get treated to handshakes and hope. Gantrywell opened in 2014 to run homes like commercial jobs: real drawings, real schedules, real paper. The Friday walk was her site-superintendent habit; clients liked it so much it became the brand. One hundred twenty-eight projects later, the reviews mostly describe the process, which is exactly the point.
