The studio
A studio that designs for the hard months.
Anyone can plant an April garden. June Mosslane built the studio around the other nine months — the palettes, the drawings, the ranges in writing, and the care plans that keep year three looking better than year one.
How we work
Designed for Texas
Native and adapted palettes — muhly, salvia, yaupon, desert willow — layered for structure in every season, including the brutal one.
Pictures, not paragraphs
Scaled drawings with materials specced, approved before a shovel moves. Allowance-stuffed paragraphs are how budgets die.
Kept looking designed
Care plans run by people who know the design intent. Pruned like the designer is watching — because she checks.
June Mosslane, designer & owner
A designer who watched too many April gardens die.
June spent her early career installing beautiful spring gardens that were compost by Labor Day — designed for the photo, not the climate. Mosslane opened in 2016 in Argyle with a different brief: plant for the hundred-degree months, put the budget in writing before the romance, and stay involved after the crew leaves. One designer owns each project end to end; June still walks most of them.
