FAQ
Ask us anything. Here's a head start.
The questions every homeowner asks, answered the way we answer them in your kitchen — plainly. Anything missing, call: a plumber answers.
Pricing & quotes
What does "flat-rate" actually mean?
You approve one written price before any work starts, and that price doesn't change — even if the job fights back. If we misjudged it, the difference is ours. No hourly meters, no 'while we're in here' surprises.
Do you charge to come out?
One flat service visit fee, stated when you book. Proceed with the work and it's folded into the job. Emergencies carry an after-hours dispatch fee — also stated on the phone before a truck rolls.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
For standard jobs (a water heater swap, a toilet install) — often yes, a firm range. Anything diagnostic gets its real price after the diagnosis, in writing, before work. We won't guess low to win the booking.
Do you offer financing?
For larger jobs like repipes and sewer replacements, yes — simple fixed-payment terms, explained without fine print theatrics. Ask when you book.
Scheduling & emergencies
How fast can you get here?
Standard calls usually book same-day or next-day with a two-hour window and a 30-minutes-out text. Emergencies: typically within the hour inside our west Fort Worth response ring.
Is the 24/7 line really answered by a plumber?
Yes — a licensed plumber on our own bench, never an answering service. They'll coach you through the shut-off while a truck rolls.
Which areas do you serve?
Fort Worth's west side is home turf: Arlington Heights, Ridglea, Benbrook, White Settlement, Westover Hills, River Oaks, and out to Aledo. Nearby and unsure? Call — if we can't serve you fast, we'll say so and suggest someone good.
What if you're late?
You get a two-hour window and a text when we're 30 minutes out. If we miss the window, the service fee is waived automatically — you don't have to ask.
Warranty & the work
What does the 2-year warranty cover?
Parts and labor on every repair we make, in writing, on top of any manufacturer warranty. If our fix fails, we return and make it right free — period.
Are your plumbers employees or subcontractors?
Employees, every one, licensed and background-checked annually. Your job is never sold to a subcontractor.
Do you pull permits?
Whenever the code requires one — water heaters, repipes, sewer replacements — we pull it, schedule the inspection, and pass it. It's in the flat price.
Will you clean up afterward?
Rule 01: shoe covers, drop cloths, shop-vac before we leave, old parts and packaging hauled away. The work area should look better than we found it.
